King Willem Alexander first address the tragedy of the Malaysian Airline that recently took place this Summer....the Dutch people appreciated his deep concern by acknowledging this first hand!
Every year the Dutch celebrate Prinsjes Dag - this is where the Queen and now King announces the coming year - kind of a State of the Union address to the people. It is very official and this has been celebrated 200 years today ~ my goodness!
The Golden Carriage only gets used once a year for this day!
Queen Maxima is from Argentina - and the Dutch people are ever so proud of their new Queen! She has learned to speak Dutch so well and they have 3 daughters.....
Amalia, Alexia and Ariane. Amalia would be in line to become the next Queen after her parents.
