Heading out ~
We have enjoyed our 8 day stay here in Palembang, Sumatra, Nick's Birth town, and meeting new friends and getting familiar with the town.
We meant Steve & Tamara late morning and they took us to a really cute place to eat...where all the foods prepared were available to pick out!

We enjoyed a nice lunch with them ...and had a chance to talk & share some more! So' nice!
We choose some veggies dishes and a Tempeh dish (kind of tofu but healthier) and some white rice and sat down to a really nice lunch in a cute restaurant!
We shared our plans with them regarding heading out and they gave us some good pointers including using another airline that was so much more reasonable to Jakarta! So off we went with them to Lion Air. In no time at all we had tickets for the next day out! Thanks you guys...so great to have you take us and know the "right connections" Terrific!
So tomorrow we head out at 10:30 am from our hotel and our flight leaves at 1:30 pm - just a 55 min flight - we will be in Jakarta at a decent time and be able to get to our hotel before rush hour...WELL QUITE FRANKLY I HEAR THAT RUSH HOUR IS ALL DAY IN JAKARTA! IT IS A VERY BUSY PLACE!
