Friends ~ Saying our "Sampai Nanti's!" (till we meet again!)

This week we met with the Widodo family and had a very nice dinner!  They took us to a Joglo just outside of Salatiga!

Hmmmmm very nice fish dishes...one was fried and the other had many special & spicy flavors

..........Ellen Likes!

Rice served in a rotan dish and the rice laid upon a banana leaf!

Their son San San on the left...then Fiona the younger daughter...Mom-  Indah & father- Paulus and Nick & I and Herlina their oldest daughter!

Herlina is teaching herself Japanese & France at the same time!  San San & his sister Fiona are taking Chinese lesson already 4 years!  Amazing huh?  Very very bright kids!
Paulus & Indah are very gracious people and blessed us with a lovely meal and great company!

Thank you Widodo family!

We are thankful for your friendship and our times together! And .....Paulus.... we will never forget your kindness when Nick & I and you - arrived by plane on the same flight back from
Singapore to Semarang...and your driver was outside ready to pick you up and bring you home to Salatiga....

The person who was sitting next to us on the plane -  she knew you AND that you lived in Salatiga AND that you were also on the plane ..AND would be traveling to Salatiga!  As we went through customs...she text you...you stopped your car outside the airport area...and you offered us a ride!!!

Oh Paulus.... how nice it was that for us returning from Singapore ~ not having to look for a taxi to drive us to Salatiga...AND then when we came into Salatiga...you took us to your beautiful home to meet your lovely family!

AND then... to TOP it off....you & your wife Indah (just meeting you all for the first time!!!!) invite Nick & I to move into your house and stay there with you & your family "how ever long" we wanted to stay & live in Salatiga....
Amazing People you are!!!!!

(this was just in the beginning stages of extending our visa in Singapore and trying to find a house to rent in Salatiga!)

Talk about being kind to "strangers" well we felt their love & kindness immediately!
