A few busy days ahead!
In the next few days~ Nick & I will have to depart out of Indonesia before this Sunday the 20th of October - it has been 2 months since we arrived into Indonesia and our first 2 month visa expires.
We do hope to eventually get a 'longer' visa but for now - at this time - we will have to physically leave and then re-apply in Singapore at the Indonesian Embassy.
We booked a flight out of Indonesia for this Saturday from Semarang.
So' tomorrow - Thursday we will leave our two big suitcases with a new friend here in town - and only take our back pack for those few days. Ah...nice! Head to Semarang by bus - and stay there for two days. We have not yet been in Semarang and this too - if I recall, was a place that my father worked in the past. It is also a town we wanted to visit - so that works out well.
There was a very large Dutch community in the colonial years with it being on the coast and easy access to many countries and ports!
Yes...then back to Singapore where it all started 4 months ago!
We knew of course that we would have to do the visa extension - but I can't believe it is already 4 months ago that we flew into Singapore from San Francisco on the 22nd of June!
WOW! We have seen and done a lot already!
We thank the Lord for our safety and health and His protection - everyday!
