Day 11/12 ~ Last Day in Bali - Return to Salatiga!

Nick & I woke up early again and sat on the balcony to enjoy the Sunrise!  Love the formation of the clouds and colors out there! 

 

Doesn't that look like a dog?  Do you see the ears Nick? 

We just relaxed on the balcony - and watched the Sun come up - it is not even cold/cool  in the morning...quite a phenomenon to have the weather be so constant all the time!!!!  Nick "likes" & Ellen is appreciating it too...but what happened to the seasons?????

A little blurry but still pretty - 

Breakfast it was,  and then we decided a drive north this time to see the rest of the peninsula! 

The motorbike had to be returned early afternoon.

It was much busier at this end of the peninsula...many boats touring the bay and in the distance we saw para-sailing & a banana boat being pulled by a fast boat...with lots of people on it!  And they all fell off when the guy took a purposely SHARP turn...ha!  Well the water is warm...so NO PROBLEM!

This part of Nusa Dua was a popular pull for the younger crowd...with so many activities offered to go see and do!  Snorkeling - at a island close by....in this part of town there was many touring buses and lots of traffic too.

It was fun to sit & watch the boats going back and forth in the bay.

 

Hey up there goes the para-sailer...I have enjoyed doing that a few times in my life!   Ellen likes!

 

 We ran some errands and then returned the bike...and went back to the hotel to pack our back-packs for the early morning departure.


Last evening on the balcony...we sure did enjoy this balcony!

 Nick ordered a taxi to pick us upin the morning  here at the hotel at 4:15 am - our flight out of Bali would be at 5:50 am.

It was so quiet in the hotel at 4:30! Gosh...quiet as a mouse!  Nick paid the bill and the taxi was there already!  Wow...that was great!

We got to the airport in no time...quiet on the road still dark out there!  The driver dropped us off at national desk- Air Asia airlines and we checked in -headed down the  corridor to wait for our flight!

 

 

We look a bit sleepy right?  Well 5:50 am the plane departed...right on time!  Off we went back to Java...Wow did we ever have a fabulous time Nico?!!!!  Yes we did...the flight was right on time...arrival at 6:10 am!  Say what?  Yes the time change...Java is 1 hour behind...Oh my this time Nick & I DID NOT forget to change our watches...thankfully!  We must of been more wide awake...ha!






 Our bus would pick us up at 9:00 am from the Terminal and bring us back to Salatiga...nice!  So we hung out at the airport and had a cup of coffee with a croissant - yes would you believe it Dunkin' Donuts! Of all places!



We waited for our ride - the van was a little late but the driver finally found us - and so off we went for the 2 hr ride back to Salatiga....in the rain!  Yes      RAIN!!!!



.........we have with us some wonderful memories and look forward to seeing all our friends back again! We thank the Lord for all His Blessings & safety too!
