July 3rd last Day on Penang Island ~

                   Like we said...Penang Island was not small..

 Today we took the bus into town to book our ferry boat which will take us to the Langkawi Island -  We will be very close to mainland -Thailand.  Which is the direction we need to go to get to Cambodia...to our friends Jerry & Wilma. 

We went to the Adventist Hospital in town to see about getting our additional shots~

Last evening we had a bite to eat at the outside food market across the street from our hotel and enjoyed a meal with the locals...

It was a nice meal...rice, veggies, and some spicy chicken!

 Today we cooled off in the downtown Mall...gosh it sure was big! Had a cup of Starbuck's coffee! Hit the spot...a good cup of coffee is always appreciated!

Look how nice this is...you need a spoon...well there it is in the lid! it folds out! I hadn't seen that before!

We are have rested up these past 4 days in this one hotel...and that helped a whole lot! So off we go in the morning - traveling by Ferry boat to another island north of us...2:45 min north...Langkawi.  

It will be leaving at 8:15am so we will be needing to get up early...and catch a taxi to the ferry building downtown.  

They say that this island is a bit more of a resort area...lots to do ~

I thought about Mom and you always so sweetly bringing it to her everyday...a little snack she so' enjoys!

Yes Tomorrow is the 4th of July...and we are  far away this year!
