Saturday...So' Exciting...we Moved into the Studio Apartment!!!!!

My friend Martin - whom I have know since he was a little guy...lives in this very nice apartment complex.  Martin knew we were looking for something temporary to rent - furnished.  In his complex there is a guest apartment that family members can rent on a daily basis while they visit their families here in The Hague.  So Martin suggested we consider this...AND it is darling and perfect for us right now! 

 The area is called Clingendael and the apartment Clingenbosch!  There is this lovely park right next to this complex which is just gorgeous!  We can walk and totally enjoy this park with its gorgeous grounds & trees ~ I will soon take some pictures as well! 

There is a elevator and coming into the apartment we have a sitting / sleeping area!

 I pulled out my batik material and made a cute table cloth - fits nicely with the couch!  ha!

There is a balcony the width of the apartment - which is really nice!  To get a little air that is!

 The kitchen is cozy and has the basic needs to enjoy daily living! 

Right behind these chairs you can actually pull the curtain so that you have a little separation from the living & bed area...so that too makes it nice ~ 

 We look over the City of The Hague right over the trees ~ 

Nick & I are settled into our little cozy home and ever so pleased to enjoy family & friends and sightseeing Holland ~ 

We appreciate Martin's thoughtfulness to let us use this for the next 3 weeks...someone else has reservations for it in 3 weeks and then we will see what the next step will be...but for now we are settled until September 17th - Yeah!!!!  Way to Go!
