On the one side (left) is the North Sea/Wadden Zee and on the other side it has been changed to Ijssel meer Lake -
Because of what happenend in Marken (previous post) they blocked the sea with this Dam!
Boy those Dutchies...know what to do with the water!
Rock by Rock....can you imagine...barges and barges of these rocks were brought in and dropped until it finally filled....it took 6 years!
