Church of The Hague (my old church when I lived in Holland and where both my boys were dedicated!) and spoke to "Cheryl" in the church office! I explained that we were visiting here in The Hague and have been attending here.
I asked her that if she knew of anyone that might have a room or apartment to rent for the next 2 weeks we were in need! Cheryl was very kind and took our information and said she would talk to the pastor about it! It was Friday! Cheryl said that the assistant pastor and family had just moved back to Texas this very week..."she said it might work for you!" Oh wow...that sounds wonderful! She would ask the pastor and let us know!
We attended church on Sunday morning and after service we did talk to Pastor Tim and he said "Yes...I don't see why not!" Oh what a blessing for us! We were so pleased! Can't hardly believe it...
We received the key from the caretaker Marko and off we went to take a look at it!
Well lookie here....nice huh?
An "IKEA" kitchen....so nice!
The backyard is darling too! And look it has a nice roll out shade too!
3 bedrooms with a front & back yard!
There was some items left - 3 children beds, a TV, a table...and two chairs...and one small table....so what else do we need.....nothing....we have it all! We are use to this! Have done it for 8 months in Indonesia!!!!
Oh and LOOK here.....my favorite ever...a Nespresso coffee
machine! One I have wanted to have...and there it was sitting in the kitchen...waiting for Ellen to enjoy for the next 2 weeks! Gosh!
We took the mattresses of the baby beds and "Wa-La!" we have a bed to sleep on! Back on the floor just like Indonesia! No Problem!
There is a washer & dryer left in the house! I can do my wash!!!! Yeah!!!!!!!! What a blessing for the next 2 weeks!
There are 2 bikes here too....we can't hardly believe it but it is everything we need for the coming 2 weeks! Jason gave us some sheets & pillows and even made up our bed! Some pans and some plates and silverware! Tineke brought some cups and a hot water kettle...we are ready.....
I bought some popcorn and our first evening was perfect...TV - internet....and popcorn....Wow do we feel blessed! Yes Sireeeeeeeeeeee......we do!
God has provided our every need....again!
We are ever so pleased! Today I cleaned the house...did yard work and we went shopping!
Had a glass of wine with our meal...yes we cooked at "home" and we are settled! Even took a bike ride in the area!
