Volendam ~

Volendam    We love these old Dutch boats that still are daily being used!

People were out and about enjoying the good weather we were having!  August was a rainy months - so everyone is glad to have some Sun back again here in September!

This is typical Dutch the shutters in the dark green with red & white....cute!

Here is the Overijsel Lake...(was the sea!)

Bikes lines up in the alley...and of course the Dutch french fries are for sale....and take it from me....THEY ARE SO GOOD!

Fried...then put in the frig and then fried again...and they are crunch and delicious!  The Dutch mayonaise and the peanut sauce on it - and yes you have one dangerous order of fries! 

LEKKER!!!!
