Updates & Plans ~

We want to share some updates with you all~  We found out last week that we have a 90 day time limit in the European Union (EU) - this was actually new to us ( and we found out it went into effect August 2013- this new rule) 

When we left Indonesia and traveled to Israel and then flew into Greece.......at that moment coming into EU the "clock" was ticking and we did not know that!  When we finally arrived into Holland - we had plans to stay at least till my son Jason had his Birthday on October 4th ~  

But the news is this: our 90 day limit ends on October 2nd!  We have to be out of the EU on that date!  Ouch!  After talking with Jas we did have to go and book a flight. 

We had searched the internet and found no reasonable flights home...one way trips are expensive - even in this low-season time of the year!

We went to a travel office hoping they might have more availability  to research the airlines and YES! ..... Lo and Behold....he found a one way trip for half the price of a one way ticket!  So we both for half the prize!  The flight is from Amsterdam to Vancouver Canada instead of San Francisco or Portland Oregon as we had planned.  But the distance is very short....and the price was RIGHT ...so Nick & I are very thankful!!!

So anyway dear friends - this is the latest...we are arriving into Vancouver Canada Sept 30th from Amsterdam! 

15 months of travel and we will be back on American soil before you know it!  

We hope to purchase a motorhome - so we will have a "home" to move into...even though it is on wheels - ha!  But we will be glad to have the comfort and this way we will be able to visit family & friends along the way! Bend Modesto Bay Area and Los Angeles areas till we decide what where and how our next step will be.....God knows!  He has gone before us on this adventure and has always opened so many doors for us!  Thankfully He knows!   God has a plan for us!  We do not have to be concerned about that!

OK - that the latest "scoop" from the Bucket List - Asia, Israel, Europe and back to the USA ....here we come!
